Process Improvement Specialist

The RoleWe're seeking a skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for mapping critical processes and procedures across Auto & General. You'll work with stakeholders to identify and document business processes, ensuring a collaborative and supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities- Work with senior team members and managers to coach stakeholders in developing process flows.
- Support the development of a consistent and efficient way of mapping processes, storing processes, and updating processes across A&G.
- Identify and flag interdependencies between functions and divisions for the manager.
- Support the identification of inefficiencies or bottlenecks and propose remedial paths forward.
- Work with Risk and Compliance colleagues to identify obligations associated with process steps and document corresponding controls.
- Interact frequently with managers, SMEs, and other stakeholders to obtain input, provide status updates, and drive conversations regarding process improvements.
- Contribute to the development of timelines for process mapping milestones, including prioritization and resourcing, and manage against a project plan.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in process mapping, process improvement, or business analysis.
- Intermediate knowledge of BIC; strong experience with Visio or Lucid Charts is considered.
- Team-focused attitude, ability to learn new systems quickly, experience of working to deadlines in a change-driven environment, and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus.
- Knowledge of operational risk management, linkages between obligations, and mapping controls.
- Experience of working within a 3 LoD model and understanding the interdependencies from a business process perspective.
