Academic Leader in Cyber Security

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate academic to contribute to teaching and research in Cyber Security.
This role involves leading innovative research, publishing in top-tier venues, securing independent funding, and collaborating with industry and interdisciplinary teams across the University.
The successful candidate will join a world-class Cyber Security research group, teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, and engage with industry and government partners to drive impactful advancements in the field.
- Develop and deliver high-quality subject materials and delivery, including the use of web resources as appropriate.
- Conduct lectures and tutorials at undergraduate and postgraduate level including engagement in teaching innovation and improvement.
- Prepare project work to support student learning.
- Conduct high quality scholarly research in the discipline of Cyber Security.
- Build and foster partnerships with industry, government and other collaborators.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and adaptable researcher with a strong track record in Cyber Security, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with academic, industry, and international stakeholders.
They will possess a proactive and interdisciplinary mindset, excelling in teamwork, independent research, and knowledge-sharing through teaching, seminars, and collaborative projects.
Key Requirements:
- A PhD in computer science, software engineering or information systems (or relevant discipline).
- A track record of quality research in Cyber Security as evidenced by research publications in leading peer-reviewed conferences or journals commensurate with opportunity.
- Demonstrated ability to perform independent research and a commitment to interdisciplinary research.
