The university is seeking a senior academic expert in Cyber Security to contribute to teaching, research and industry engagement.
Job DescriptionThis role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Cyber Security, conducting high-quality research in the field, developing and maintaining industry partnerships and collaborations, providing academic leadership and contributing to the development of new programs and courses.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this position, you will need:
- A PhD in a related discipline with relevant teaching and course development experience;
- Evidence of currency within discipline area through research output, professional development and/or industry experience;
- Evidence of research output through high-impact publications in the field;
- Demonstrated ability to attract external competitive research funding;
- Demonstrated experience in leading teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Experience leading the implementation and/or using educational technologies including online delivery platforms;
- Demonstrated experience with industry or work-integrated learning practices.
