Job DescriptionThe company is seeking a highly skilled Finance Lead to join their Melbourne office and play a key role in strengthening their finance function. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all accounting processes, delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, and supporting the group finance function in its next phase of growth.
- Lead the accounting team to deliver high-quality financial reporting and ensure compliance with Australian taxation regulations.
- Support the month-end closing activities and consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement financial reporting processes, including assisting with the Audit process.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to produce reports and data, enabling the measurement and reporting of key performance metrics.
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation and review of journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Facilitate the review and analysis of management fees and intercompany transactions.
- Lead the preparation of stakeholder cash flow forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial background, with experience in finance management and leadership. They will possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a qualification in finance or accounting, such as CA or CPA. The candidate should also have experience working on finance transformation projects, proficiency in financial accounting and reporting standards, and knowledge of Australian taxation regulations.
