Job Overview

Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to provide technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions.

You will utilize your technical expertise and industry-leading data storage portfolio to address customers' technical needs and deliver successful business outcomes.

You will be assigned to a district team and sales leader, focusing on expanding our presence within existing and new clients together with business partners.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Assist the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions.
  • Design and architect complex products/applications/solutions, creating detailed design and implementation specifications as needed.
  • Build mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client.
  • Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design tailored storage technology solutions to address unique customer challenges.
  • Convey the advantages of our storage solutions through presentations, demonstrations, and discussions.
  • Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems (knowledge of NAS, SAN and Object Storage is required).
  • Develop storage infrastructure and data management solutions for enterprise applications, also in the context of Cloud Services.
  • Provide deep insights into Storage and Data Management vendor ecosystem, and having had prior experience on backup solutions.
  • Create ROI/TCO overview and competitive advantages of solution offerings.
  • Collaborate with client executives and partner sales to create strategies for developing customer opportunities related to storage solutions.
  • Advise on engagement and utilization of broader range of technical resources.
  • Offer technical expertise on our storage products and solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 8+ years of experience and expertise in technical specifications on storage products and services.
  • Experience working with telecom customers/service providers is essential.
  • Prior experience in roles such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Solutions Engineering on storage technologies.
  • Operate as Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and able to influence Sales team, driving initiatives and act as a Decision-maker on Projects.
  • Experience or working knowledge with EMC, HDS, HPE, IBM, VMware or PureStorage products.
  • Knowledge in Cloud, Storage, AI/ML, Database, Microservice, Enterprise Application or DevOps is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Docker/Container & Kubernetes (K8S) platform.
  • Knowledge of hybrid multi-cloud technologies, AI Platform.
