Project Manager Role Overview

A comprehensive opportunity exists for a seasoned Infrastructure Project Lead to oversee and drive major infrastructure initiatives within our esteemed healthcare facility.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing diverse portfolios of capital projects, assessing feasibility, developing scopes and project plans, coordinating quotes and documentation, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills are essential in this role, requiring effective communication and coordination with business users, internal and external teams, contractors, and senior leaders.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of hospital operations, significant experience in delivering and implementing infrastructure projects, and the ability to read and understand building infrastructure plans.

Key Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Project Lead, you will:

  • Oversee multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, allocating resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business users, clinicians, and staff, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all parties.
  • Drive financial performance by managing project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency, and meeting financial targets set by senior leaders.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A strong background in project management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Significant experience in delivering and implementing infrastructure projects, including assessment, development, and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders at different levels.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and develop creative solutions.
