Effective project delivery requires meticulous planning, execution and monitoring. As a seasoned Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing IT Infrastructure projects to ensure timely completion and alignment with organisational goals.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise to manage a tier-1 technology infrastructure project, upgrading critical network infrastructure supporting equities and derivatives trading platforms.
  • Lead a team of 30+ resources, fostering a positive and collaborative culture that drives ownership and achievement of project objectives and milestones.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain situational awareness and escalate issues as necessary through the project steering guidance group.
  • Manage and report on project risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and dependencies to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Design and implement detailed project plans, incorporating timelines, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration among team members and external vendors to drive successful project delivery.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with organisational policies, standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

You must have:

  • At least 10 years' experience in delivering mission-critical, complex technology infrastructure projects.
  • A sound understanding of Networking and Connectivity principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding teams towards shared goals.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • A solid grasp of project management methodologies and tools.

Nice to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical delivery-oriented roles.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as cloud computing.
  • Proven ability in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL disciplines.
