Job Overview

The Contracts Administrator will play a vital role in overseeing all commercial and contractual matters on assigned subcontracts for the project. This entails:

  • Ensuring compliance with established Operating Standards throughout project delivery
  • Supporting internal stakeholders with tendering, negotiation, and formation of allocated subcontracts
  • Collaborating with internal management and stakeholders to review project budget and ensure adequate allocation to subcontracts
  • Effective administration of all subcontracts to optimize earnings on project
  • Assisting with preparation of all claims and variations for the adjustment of compensation and time under the head contract and assigned subcontracts

The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in engineering, quantity surveying, law, construction management, or economics (CM&E), along with a minimum 3 years of direct experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers, and demonstrated experience as a contracts administrator or commercial/contracts advisor on building projects.
