The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, with experience in coordinating and performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to emergencies, and conducting inspections to identify potential issues. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning, repairs, and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or system malfunctions, and take corrective action to minimize disruption.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and develop strategies for maintenance and repair.
  • Work with contractors and vendors to ensure that maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement procedures for managing and maintaining facilities, including but not limited to, scheduling, budgeting, and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities are maintained in a manner that supports the organization's goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in facilities management or related field preferred.
