We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Vehicle Technician to join our team at ARG Workforce in Townsville, North Queensland.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining vehicles, diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, and performing general vehicle maintenance tasks. About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $$72,500, which includes benefits such as manufacturer training and experience. The successful applicant must have a current Motor Mechanic/Auto Electrician Trade Certificate or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years' full-time work experience in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing and maintenance of vehicles (as per factory required standards)
  • Diagnostics and repair of electrical systems, including wiring and electrical components
  • General vehicle maintenance, including removal and replacement of worn components
  • Testing of vehicles under driving conditions after repairs have been completed

Requirements

  • A current Motor Mechanic/Auto Electrician Trade Certificate or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years' full-time work experience in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge and experience in servicing and maintenance of Japanese/European made vehicles as well as other vehicles (including 4WDs)
  • Good diagnostic skills on specific brands
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
