Vehicles Technician Wanted for North Queensland Role

We are seeking experienced Auto Electricians & Motor Mechanics to work with our clients in Townsville and Charters Towers, North Queensland.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annumJob DescriptionServicing and maintenance of vehicles (as per factory required standards) is a key responsibility of this role.
- Servicing and Maintenance: Ensure all vehicles are serviced and maintained according to factory standards.
- Diagnostic Tracing: Accurately diagnose fault codes and repair traced faults.
- Electrical System Repair: Repair or replace faulty wiring or electrical systems.
- Automotive Parts Servicing: Service electrical automotive parts as required.
- Engine Disassembly: Dismantle engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for rebuilding or repair.
- Brake Realigning: Realign and adjust brakes, wheel laser alignment.
- General Vehicle Maintenance: Perform general vehicle maintenance as required by customers, including removal and replacement of worn components.
- Vehicle Testing: Test vehicles under driving conditions after repairs have been completed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Motor Mechanic/Auto Electrician Trade Certificate or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years full-time work experience.
- Knowledge and experience in servicing and maintenance of Japanese/European made vehicles as well as other vehicles (including 4WDs).
- Good diagnostic skills on specific brands.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Manufacturer training and experience is essential.
