About the Role
Healthscope is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our expert team of healthcare professionals at Norwest Private Hospital.
This challenging and rewarding role will provide an opportunity for you to work in a supportive environment that values and supports diverse families, delivering woman-centered care with excellence.
As a Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality antenatal and postnatal midwifery services, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
You will have a genuine interest in caring for women and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal periods, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a supportive team.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a minimum of three years' relevant post-registration experience, current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife, and demonstrated experience working in the provision of antenatal and postnatal midwifery services.
You should also possess a strong understanding of quality improvement initiatives and the ability to apply research principles to support evidence-based practice, including the development of policies and guidelines.
A flexible approach to work, including night duty, is essential for this role, along with advanced communication skills as part of a multi-disciplinary team and a willingness to learn new skills.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $35.46 - $49.79 per hour, based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024.
