Our organization seeks a seasoned automation professional to spearhead the design, implementation, and commissioning of our Brisbane Airport project.

This high-profile role requires exceptional leadership and coordination skills, as well as the ability to mentor junior engineers and oversee system design and implementation.

The successful candidate will manage technical execution of the project, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.

About the Role

  • Project Leadership and Coordination: Lead the automation engineering team for the Brisbane Airport baggage handling project, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project milestones.
  • Mentoring and Training: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers during commissioning and cutover activities, promoting their growth and development within the organization.
  • System Design and Implementation: Oversee the design and development of PLC/SCADA systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • On-Site Commissioning and Cutover Support: Lead system commissioning and cutovers, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing downtime.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all project documentation is accurate and compliant with project requirements, facilitating effective communication and knowledge sharing.
  • System Support and Optimization: Provide ongoing technical support post-commissioning, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process enhancements.
