About the Role

We are seeking an Emerging Planning Specialist to join our dynamic Women's Apparel team. As a key member of the planning group, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and profit growth for our brand.

You will be responsible for assisting the senior planning team with seasonal sales, stock, and profit forecasts, as well as monitoring trading performance and recommending actions to maximize sales and profitability.

Your expertise in option planning, size curve analysis, and buy quantities will be invaluable in maintaining stock flows, allocation profiles, and replenishment plans.

In addition, you will provide insightful reporting and analysis at weekly trading meetings, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the senior planning team with seasonal sales, stock, and profit forecasts.
  • Monitor trading performance and recommend actions to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Support with option planning, size curve analysis, and buy quantities.
  • Maintain stock flows, allocation profiles, and replenishment plans.
  • Provide insightful reporting and analysis at weekly trading meetings.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as an allocator or planning assistant in a related field.
  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent in business, commerce, finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with confidence working with large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of retail math, including sales, margin, and stock flow metrics.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and curious mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders across retail, design, and planning.
  • A team player who is collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for fashion and an interest in developing a long-term career in merchandise planning.
