About the Role
The Emergency Planning Advisor supports the coordination, development and continuous improvement of emergency management planning and training initiatives for the Precinct. This role focuses on policy support, training facilitation and stakeholder engagement ensuring emergency preparedness measures are practically integrated into daily operations across the Precinct.
You will work closely with internal teams such as Safety, Venue Management, Building Services, Venue Operations, Precinct Operations, People & Culture and Workforce Planning. External stakeholders include international partners and local tenants.
About You
This role is well suited to a professional with experience in facilities, OH&S, emergency planning, or training coordination. Experience is welcome from a range of sectors such as venues, major events, education, healthcare, transport, property management, facilities, government, and/or corporate services.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in emergency management planning and training within operational or facility-based environments
- Understanding of AS/NZS 3745:2010 and its application in practical settings
- Experience in risk management, incident response and training development and delivery
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confident verbal and written communication skills
- Stakeholder engagement experience
- Experience of establishing constructive and effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Strong influencing skills
