About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on an ongoing contract basis. As a key member of our electrical team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering projects across various industries, including mining, oil & gas, and water treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop electrical designs that meet client specifications and Australian Standards
  • Perform calculations for load flow, fault level, earthing, lightning risk assessments, and maximum demand
  • Review and approve electrical and instrumentation design drawings, including SLDs, schematics, termination diagrams, and loop diagrams
  • Produce deliverables such as specifications, studies, scopes of work, procurement packages, and dossiers
  • Manage project activities, including project planning, deliverable progress reporting, and project coordination
  • Assist with construction and commissioning activities, including occasional site visits
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification
  • RPEQ (or working towards)
  • Previous experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous experience working on mining/minerals processing, oil & gas, or water treatment projects
  • Understanding of Australian and industry codes and standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
