About this Role

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Disability Support Workers to work with clients in the Gungahlin community.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of your clients and empower them to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care and support to clients with complex needs
  • Assisting with daily living activities, including medication management and meal supervision
  • Supporting clients with physical and emotional needs, including chest physiotherapy and PEG feeding
  • Working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
  • Current Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Care, Disability, or Community Care
  • Experience working with clients with complex needs in an Aged Care or Community setting
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
