About the Role

This exciting opportunity as a Caregiver Specialist - Overnight Support is a chance to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our customers. As a key member of our overnight sleep roster, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of domestic supports within high-needs customer residences.

You will work closely with our customers to understand their individual needs and develop personalised plans to support them in achieving their goals. This may involve providing assistance with personal care, domestic duties, and other tasks that promote independence and confidence.

In addition to your direct support role, you will also be required to maintain accurate records, complete reports, and contribute to the development of behaviour support plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering domestic supports within high-needs customer residences;
  • SUPPORTING CUSTOMER CENTRED PLANS TO IDENTIFY LIFE GOALS;
  • ENSURING POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PLANS ARE FOLLOWED;
  • ADMINISTRATION DUTIES, EXPENSE AND MANDATORY REPORTS.
Requirements
  • EXPERIENCE IN SUPPORTING CUSTOMERS WITH BEHAVIOURAL SUPPORT PLANS;
  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH MANUAL HANDLING AND MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION;
  • WILLINGNESS TO ASSIST WITH PERSONAL CARE AND DOMESTIC DUTIES EXPERIENCE;
  • ABILITY TO MANAGE COMPLEX OR DIFFICULT SITUATIONS AS THEY ARISE WITH PATIENCE AND MATURITY;
  • CERT III IN DISABILITY, INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT OR HIGHER IS ESSENTIAL;
  • WILLINGNESS TO USE YOUR FULLY INSURED AND REGISTERED, PRIVATE VEHICLE (ALIGNED WITH ACTIV'S MOTOR VEHICLE ALLOWANCE REBATE).
