Transaction Diligence Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our market-leading Transaction Diligence team in Melbourne.

As part of our team, you will work on complex deals with top-tier clients, identifying key value drivers, challenging assumptions, and providing expert insights to drive deal value and structuring.

You will:

  • Manage due diligence engagements for private equity investors and strategic corporate buyers.
  • Analyse financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management.
  • Project manage teams, information flows, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and analyse key value drivers to deliver financial and commercial insights.

Our ideal candidate possesses experience in transaction services within an advisory environment. A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics is preferred, as well as membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or international equivalent. Additionally, a strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Due Diligence Management: Oversee and coordinate due diligence engagements from initiation to completion.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis of targets, including review of accounting records and interviews with management.
  • Team Management: Project manage teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members and key stakeholders.
  • Value Driver Identification: Identify and analyse key value drivers to provide actionable insights and drive deal value.

Requirements:

  • Experience in transaction services within an advisory environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics.
  • Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or international equivalent.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment.
