About the Role

The APS is seeking a highly motivated and skilled System Support Officer to join the Information Compliance Directorate. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide Implementation Taskforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate work-flows into and across the Taskforce, taking into account agreed priorities and KPIs.
  • Obtain or formulate business rules and requirements from Taskforce members and convert them into process artefacts.
  • Experience or ability to learn and understand business modelling concepts, tools, and techniques – Microsoft CRM Dynamics, Visio and BMS.
  • Facilitate administration changes, such as access requests, input data changes, general maintenance.
  • Facilitate Taskforce member awareness and increased utility of the BMS.
  • High attention to detail, with ability to conduct internal coordination activities.
  • Effective engagement with internal clients and external stakeholders to support the section's business objectives.
  • Experience with electronic management systems, sentencing and records management processes.

About the Team:

The Information Compliance Directorate is responsible for undertaking planning to ensure the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide Implementation Taskforce remains fit for purpose and Defence has options beyond the delivery of the Royal Commission final report.

The Directorate also manages security, risk and business continuity for the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide Implementation Taskforce assurance activities to ensure compliance with legislation and Defence policy.
