Procurement Leadership Opportunity

As a Senior Manager, you will lead the procurement function and manage third-party supplier spend. You will develop a comprehensive procurement strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and coach a diverse procurement team.

About the Role
  • Provide leadership to the procurement team, including resource management, stakeholder engagement, and prioritization.
  • Support and uplift procurement resources through mentoring, coaching, and training.
  • Develop a data-led procurement strategy, including opportunity assessment, governance requirements, and capability review.
  • Lead the implementation of procurement processes to ensure efficient, effective, and ethical practices.
  • Conduct strategic sourcing projects, such as supplier tenders and negotiations.
  • Develop strategic supplier relationships that enhance value, improve compliance, and deliver environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with supplier relationships, contractual agreements, and market dynamics to ensure continuity of supply and ethical practices.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within procurement, with success in driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience in leading procurement teams and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Strategic analysis skills and ability to transform procurement functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of procurement, including strategic sourcing, category management, and internal compliance.
  • Experience in leading strategic negotiations with suppliers.
  • Project management, resource management, and ability to deliver results in a matrix management environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization.
