Expert Risk Management Leader

The role of Senior Risk Assurance Specialist involves working closely with business stakeholders to oversee and manage risk across the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues to design and implement effective internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to develop internal controls certification processes and provide support for quarterly reporting procedures.
  • Facilitate preparation and submission of Internal Controls memos, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate company-wide quarterly SOX certification, ensuring accurate ownership and effective communication.
  • Support ad-hoc requests related to SOX, leadership, and project reporting.
  • Oversee the SOC control assessment process, including report collection and review coordination.
  • Conduct process walkthroughs and develop risk and control matrices (RACMs).
  • Identify and standardize process and controls documentation in collaboration with business owners.
  • Support risk event and issues management processes through assessment and resolution of risk events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of progressive experience in auditing, risk and controls, or related fields.
  • Experience in risk and control functions within a multinational/global organization.
  • Proven success in improving risk management/SOX in a fast-moving environment.
  • Thorough understanding of internal control concepts and applying them across business areas.
