About Us

We are seeking an experienced Sports and Programs Team Leader to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering quality sport and lifestyle programs, leading the Sports and Programs Team in creating a customer-centric environment, building strong relationships with community members, and ensuring continuous improvement to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • A deep understanding of sports and programs offered within a recreation centre setting;
  • Demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities by inspiring and motivating team members, setting clear goals, and providing guidance and support;
  • Strong organisational skills to effectively plan, coordinate, and manage both your own tasks, and that of your team;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information, provide feedback, and maintain open lines of communication with team members and external stakeholders;
  • Experience promoting and marketing programs/services in an innovative way that drives growth;
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Recreation, or equivalent level of experience;
  • Ability to obtain First Aid Certificate, Police Clearance and Driver's Licence.
