Hotel Cleaning Standards


We are seeking a motivated and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Manly Pacific, an Accor hotel located near the iconic Manly Beach.


Key Responsibilities



  • Ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the Housekeeping department, adhering to Accor's high standards of cleanliness and guest care.
  • Assist the Assistant/Executive Housekeeper in daily checks of bedrooms and designated areas to maintain quality standards.
  • Manage the safe storage and issue of cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and procedures.
  • Coordinate the laundry operation, ensuring cost-effective use of linen and assisting with inventory management as required.
  • Handle guest laundry and lost property with care and attention to detail.
  • Liaise with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure guest requirements are met, responding to special requests with urgency.
  • Ensure VIP rooms are prepared with requested amenities, as communicated by Front Office.
  • Assist with roster preparation, ensuring suitable and cost-effective employee levels are maintained at all times, with authorization from the department head.

Requirements



  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a similar hospitality environment, with supervisory qualifications desirable.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Opera.
  • Good written and spoken English.
