Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Allocator to join our Global Merchandising Team based in Melbourne. As an Allocator, you will play a crucial role in optimizing category performance by planning and allocating stock effectively. You will work closely with our Planner, who will guide and mentor you throughout your learning journey.

This role is ideal for a Fashion Graduate looking to take their first step into Planning. You will be responsible for:

  • Financial analysis and assisting in trading decisions to maximize profit
  • Category and range management
  • Stock optimization and supply chain management
  • Connecting and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

You will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of merchandising, including financial planning, inventory management, and stakeholder relationships.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the Retail Industry and its dynamics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
