Critical Response Coordinator

This role presents an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the community by providing critical support and assistance during emergency situations.
As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for responding to calls made to Triple Zero (000), offering first aid advice and guidance until paramedics arrive on scene.
Working in a fast-paced environment requires a unique blend of skills, including strong communication abilities, high attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities. You will need to effectively listen to callers, empathize with their situations, and adapt your approach to meet their individual needs.
On a rotational 24/7 roster, you will work 12-hour shifts across various days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Temporary adjustments may be considered in exceptional circumstances, but applicants must be prepared to commit to set rosters as required by the Control Centre.
The ideal candidate will possess technical aptitude, resilience, and persistence, making them well-suited to this rewarding yet challenging role. Based in Sydney and Dubbo, successful applicants will contribute to maintaining public trust and confidence in emergency services.
