We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to lead our incident response team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Management Leadership:
    • Coordinate global teams in a 24/7 follow-the-sun model to ensure timely resolution of high-severity incidents.
    • Train teams on incident response protocols and ensure readiness for critical incidents.
    • Ensure our incident management process is best-in-class, aligning with industry standards and customer needs.
  • Critical Incident Resolution:
    • Manage high-severity incidents by leading temporary response teams to minimize business impact.
    • Coordinate the team to understand impacts, perform forensics, categorize, and mitigate incidents.
    • Keep teams aligned, provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders, and maintain open communication channels.
  • Post-Incident Review and Improvement:
    • Lead blameless postmortem sessions to review incident response and resilience, tracking execution of improvement actions.
    • Define and track key metrics to measure incident management effectiveness and leverage them for data-driven improvement planning.
    • Maintain a holistic view of production status, communicate updates to internal stakeholders and customers, and monitor SLAs.
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Proven experience in incident management and SRE or Security Operations, ideally within a SaaS environment.
    • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience with postmortem processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and stay calm under pressure.
