We're a team dedicated to delivering better retirement outcomes for our members. This role will support our long-term member engagement program, enhancing retention rates and growing membership volumes and Funds Under Management.

The Superannuation Consultant team operates nationally, working at university campuses and dedicated member spaces. This position will be based full-time at the University of Queensland campus.

We rely on you to:

  • Engage with existing and prospective members, responding to inquiries about UniSuper products and general superannuation advice
  • Identify members needing personal advice and refer them to UniSuper Advice channels
  • Presentation of seminars on topics related to UniSuper and superannuation, promoting online capabilities and Employer Partnership Manager Strategies
  • Foster relationships with university staff and internal stakeholders while maintaining a strong connection with UniSuper staff
  • Primarily work from university campuses and CBD Member Centre

To succeed in this role, you'll be a clear communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of university staff. You'll also possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of superannuation
  • Experience dealing with defined benefit funds (desired but not essential)
  • Previous experience handling general superannuation inquiries, perhaps in an advice capacity or relationship account manager position with high autonomy/accountability
  • Understanding of General Advice, its importance, and recognizing the need to refer members for further personal advice
  • Experience presenting to groups (highly regarded)
  • Approachable, personable, and professional demeanor
  • RG 146 compliance with Diploma FP or higher preferred
