Support Roles in SILs and Respite Services

We are seeking experienced support workers to provide assistance to adult participants with disabilities in SILs and respite services across the Gold Coast region.

About the Role

  • Assist participants with personal activities, including hygiene support, medication management, manual handling, domestic assistance, and meal preparation.
  • Implement specific positive behaviour support plans to facilitate community, social, and recreational engagement.
  • Transport participants to community-based outings using a company vehicle or own vehicle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Completed or currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant qualification).
  • Minimum 12 months paid experience supporting individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities.
  • Australian Driver's License.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certification.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment.
  • National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months or willing to apply).
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • Reliable smartphone with data access.
