Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Marine Site Supervisor.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is within the Ports and Marine Department in Vancouver. As part of the Civil Technical Professional Organization, you will be working on marine structural engineering, contract management, tender phase support and consulting during construction.

  • Undertake full-time and part-time construction site supervision and contract management services for rehabilitation, repair and new development maritime construction projects.
  • Liaise with clients on existing projects and pursue new project opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with other project team members to incorporate input from other parts of the business on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Manage and act as Owner's Representative for active Marine Projects including Concrete caisson wharf structures, Open Berth structures, berthing and mooring dolphins, access trestles, jetties, sheet pile bulkhead wharf, walls and wood cribs wharves.
  • Coordinate drawing development with technical staff and complete drawing reviews.
  • Review project documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency in presentation, and compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and finances.
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal project support groups.
