Job Role:

You will be part of a team conducting surveys and audits across various ship types, working closely with Port and Flag states as needed.

  • Ensure your work adheres to established rules, regulations, instructions, guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Perform classification surveys and audits according to set procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients' information.
  • Supervise others, ensuring their tasks are carried out efficiently and economically.
  • Report any important information regarding the company's reputation promptly.
  • Exhibit customer-focused behavior by promoting the company and serving as a technical resource for client inquiries.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent.
  • Excellent understanding of maritime and offshore industries with at least 5 years of experience, ideally combining survey and audit expertise.
  • Flexibility to travel and willingness to respond to unscheduled job calls.
  • Strong customer service orientation and proven track record of managing maritime clients.
  • Good grasp of class and statutory requirements.
  • Ability to effectively manage digitalization and new business opportunities.
  • Team player able to work independently on surveys.
  • Physical abilities necessary for regular classification duties, including voyage surveys, sea trials, and anchorage attendance.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
