Job Role:You will be part of a team conducting surveys and audits across various ship types, working closely with Port and Flag states as needed.
- Ensure your work adheres to established rules, regulations, instructions, guidelines, and quality standards.
- Perform classification surveys and audits according to set procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of clients' information.
- Supervise others, ensuring their tasks are carried out efficiently and economically.
- Report any important information regarding the company's reputation promptly.
- Exhibit customer-focused behavior by promoting the company and serving as a technical resource for client inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent.
- Excellent understanding of maritime and offshore industries with at least 5 years of experience, ideally combining survey and audit expertise.
- Flexibility to travel and willingness to respond to unscheduled job calls.
- Strong customer service orientation and proven track record of managing maritime clients.
- Good grasp of class and statutory requirements.
- Ability to effectively manage digitalization and new business opportunities.
- Team player able to work independently on surveys.
- Physical abilities necessary for regular classification duties, including voyage surveys, sea trials, and anchorage attendance.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
