Structural Marine Design Engineer

As a seasoned structural marine design engineer, you will be responsible for developing technical designs showcasing exceptional understanding of structural marine design codes and standards. You will also foster a positive team environment through collaborative management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve technical structural designs and lead by example in a dynamic work environment.
  • Establish relationships with external stakeholders and foster knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers in areas such as jetties, wharves, cranes, fender systems, mooring analysis, and coastal infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Structural or Marine Engineering are required.
  • Extensive experience in consulting environments is essential.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are necessary for success.
  • Chartered status and registration as a Professional Engineer are highly desirable.
