Job Title: Healthcare Frontline Assistant

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of our healthcare team, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our Allied Health Providers.

  • As a Healthcare Frontline Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for all clients and visitors entering the centre, ensuring they receive a warm and welcoming experience.

  • You will provide high-level customer service by answering phone calls, emails, and in-person queries in a friendly, efficient, and sensitive manner, directing them to the appropriate staff member when needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting reception area that reflects the values of the organisation, ensuring clients and visitors always feel respected and well cared for.

  • Handle confidential and sensitive client information with utmost discretion and professionalism, adhering to privacy legislation and internal policies.

  • Manage appointment calendars for Allied Health Providers, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling of appointments, as well as handling rescheduling and cancellations in a smooth and organized manner.

  • Provide administration support for billing, including DVA and Medicare procedures, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of payments.

  • Monitor and maintain electronic medical records system, ensuring accurate entry and secure storage of client information.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with previous experience in a medical reception or healthcare administrative role. The ideal candidate will possess strong understanding of office systems and procedures, particularly in a clinical setting.

A warm and welcoming personality, with ability to offer exceptional customer service and communicate effectively, is essential.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, are also required.
