About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Officer Grade 1 to join our team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic laboratory functions in various laboratories, including specimen reception, processing of diagnostic samples, and preliminary evaluation and reporting of associated results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exercise technical expertise and judgement in the conduct of a range of technical activities.
  • Perform duties which require expertise, experience and technical skills to apply standardised practices and procedures.
  • Participate in technical project work which requires a level of applied knowledge and skill.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in an approved and recognised qualification.
  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC) and Working With Children Check (DHS).
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
