Microbiological Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Microbiology Lab Technician to join our team at a contract testing laboratory in Sydney. As a full-time position, you will work Monday to Friday, rostered between 6am - 6pm, performing sterility assays, aseptic processing, and routine analysis for endotoxin, disinfectant, antibiotic, and cytotoxicity testing.
Key Responsibilities- Perform sterility assays in accordance with SOPs
- Aseptic processing and preparation of media and reagents
- Routine analysis, ID, validations, and project work for endotoxin, disinfectant, antibiotic, and cytotoxicity testing
- Instrument maintenance and calibrations
- General housekeeping, including glassware preparation and cleaning
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- BSc in Microbiology, diploma or equivalent
- Previous microbiological laboratory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organisation skills and strong attention to detail
- Full working rights in Australia
