About the Role

Flying Bark Productions is seeking a highly skilled Compositing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our visual effects department, you will be responsible for overseeing the compositing process, ensuring high-quality results, and collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional visual effects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of compositors and evaluate the creative and technical approach for assigned shots.
  • Supervise the compositing process, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with the CG Supervisor, Animation Director, and client to meet the brief and fulfill the creative standards of the project.
  • Participate in bid meetings and client calls to discuss project requirements and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry-standard rendering, lighting, and compositing software, including Katana, Arnold, and Nuke.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement improvements to our compositing pipeline.
Requirements
  • Superior eye for composition, color, mood, and lighting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry-standard rendering, lighting, and compositing software.
  • Experience with Surfacing or Look Development is a plus.
  • Ability to be adaptable, flexible, and responsive to changes.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks within production deadlines.
  • Passion for creating outstanding visuals and a willingness to take direction from supervisors and clients.
