Job Summary:

This is a senior leadership role within the Compositing Department at Industrial Light & Magic. As a Compositing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of clients' needs, expectations, and aspirations to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Collaborate with the Supervision Team and Show Leadership Team to plan, implement, and deliver compositing projects.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Compositing team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality work.
  • Client Management: Manage client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the Compositing team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality compositing work.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve compositing processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading a compositing team on multiple large feature/episodic projects.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in compositing, including experience with industry-standard software and tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
