As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership, promoting excellence in clinical practice, and supporting the Nurse Manager in the strategic direction of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver flexible and responsive services to patients and consumers
- Use clinical expertise to provide leadership and operational guidance
- Coordinate and supervise the delivery of patient care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
- Take accountability for the ward in the Nurse Manager's absence
Requirements:
- Demonstrated clinical and leadership skills as a Registered Nurse with experience in a similar role
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing
- Current Working with Children check
- Strong commitment to patient focus and positive patient outcomes
- Competent and confident in managing acute situations
