About the Role

Cabrini Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead our dynamic palliative care team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating shifts, planning patient activities, and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shifts and plan patient activities to ensure seamless operations.
  • Share your knowledge with the clinical team, providing guidance and expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with senior staff, escalating issues as needed.
  • Support and coach colleagues in problem-solving and delivering outstanding care.
  • Liaise with medical staff and other health professionals to create an integrated model of care.
  • Triage community calls and manage clinical information.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Post-graduate qualifications and/or relevant experience in Palliative Care.
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • A passion for quality improvement and auditing, with a desire to drive positive change in patient outcomes.
