Job Opportunity: Lead Arts Department

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced leader to take charge of the arts department, overseeing the development and implementation of arts programs for students in Year 7-12. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of staff, teaching Upper School ATAR courses, and maintaining knowledge of educational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the arts department, including staff supervision and professional development
  • Develop and implement arts programs from Year 7-12, ensuring alignment with curriculum and standards
  • Teach Upper School ATAR courses in the arts discipline
  • Maintain knowledge of requirements set by educational authorities
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to promote the arts program
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of arts education
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership roles in education
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to initiate and manage change
  • Knowledge of integrated Christian curriculum and commitment to Christ-centred education
