Job Overview:

This permanent full-time role is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced applicant who meets the position selection criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • An inspiring leader able to initiate and manage change, fully committed and supportive of Christ-centred education.
  • Have a record of achievement as an educational leader, particularly in a Christian school community.
  • Develop and implement faculty programmes from Year 7-12 and teach Upper School ATAR courses with demonstrated competence.
  • Possess strong communication and inter-personal skills, being an approachable and effective communicator and public speaker.
  • Have demonstrated knowledge of the requirements set by the relevant authority.
  • Be an able administrator with the capacity to think strategically, consult, plan and delegate.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Full commitment and support for Christ-centred education and implementation of an integrated curriculum.
  2. Ability to initiate and manage change.
  3. Record of achievement as an educational leader, particularly in a Christian school community.
  4. Experience in developing and implementing faculty programmes from Year 7-12.
  5. Competence in teaching Upper School ATAR courses.
  6. Knowledge of the relevant authority's requirements.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Capacity to think strategically, consult, plan and delegate.

Requirements:

  • A Working With Children Clearance Card or ability to apply.
  • National Police Clearance (within three months).
  • Current registration with the Teaching Regulation Authority.
