Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and investigate business unit P&L and balance sheet accounts to provide timely insights and recommendations.
  • Perform reconciliations with clear descriptions of outstanding items, supporting documentation, and action plans for clearance.
  • Ensure financial controls are in place and reviewed regularly to comply with accounting policies and standards.
  • Participate in our Corporate Governance Program, including testing key controls and reporting on deficiencies.
  • Drive initiatives and strategies for continual improvement of processes and perform user acceptance testing for system changes.
Requirements:
  • CA or CPA qualification, or relevant experience in a retail or large corporate environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, vlookups, and macros, as well as enthusiasm to learn new systems.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience, with strong presentation and storyboarding skills.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data from various sources and thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
