About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team at BT Financial Group. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our remediation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and use data and financial models to document requirements and calculate remediation payments due to members.
  • Ensure data and beneficial assumptions used in remediation calculations are robust and documented.
  • Complete calculations accurately, considering loss of earnings and tax.
  • Perform Quality Assurance reviews on remediation analysis undertaken by other team members.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements to remediation processes to achieve targeted business outcomes.
  • Regularly report status on remediations in progress.
  • Mentor and train Business Analysts.
  • Identify stakeholders and maintain collaborative working relations.
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize remediation activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver effective formatting of remediation calculation payment files.

Requirements
  • Experience working in Banking/Financial Services or Wealth Management industries.
  • Strong understanding of using Excel in data modelling and financial modelling.
  • Experience in financial calculations using Excel.
  • Develop and use data and financial models to document requirements and calculate remediation payments due to members.
  • Demonstratable experience in summarising and collating solution scopes and implementation approaches.
  • Demonstratable experience in completing Quality Assurance on remediation calculations and models developed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define and execute required activities.
  • Develop, plan, and execute activities to achieve agreed outcomes and re-prioritise as required.
  • Strong influencing, negotiating, and communication skills.
  • Strategic analysis acumen and maintain strong teamwork capabilities.
