Job Title: Midwifery Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Midwifery Manager to join our Women's and Children's Health team at ClearCompany. As a Midwifery Manager, you will be responsible for providing clinical, operational, and professional nursing and midwifery leadership to our team, ensuring the effective and safe delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the Women's and Children's Health team
  • Develop and implement operational plans to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Lead and manage the team, systems, and processes to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance requirements and maintain safe nursing and midwifery practice standards
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA without conditions
  • Demonstrated nursing/midwifery knowledge and skills that support excellence in health outcomes and provision of safe care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including complaints management
  • Demonstrated experience managing human and financial resources effectively
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of clinical governance requirements of a tertiary maternity and neonatal service
  • Extensive nursing/midwifery leadership and management experience with proven ability to work in a complex and changing environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of professional ethics and experience leading a team
  • Experience in leading quality improvement within Women's and Children's services, including development of midwifery models of care
