As an experienced Energy Operations Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining OT networks that support our energy operations in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design new OT networks for sites across Australia Pacific in line with company standards and cybersecurity protocols.
  2. Deploy and commission new OT infrastructure, including travel to site as needed.
  3. Maintain and administer OT networks – manage patches, firmware, SCADA updates, and daily configurations.
  4. Perform network backups and support disaster recovery operations.
  5. Troubleshoot OT hardware, software, and operating system issues, and assist with hardware replacements.
  6. Monitor and optimize network performance, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls.
  7. Document network architecture and site-specific configuration records.
  8. Audit site networks for compliance and operational integrity.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. Proven experience with SCADA technologies and OT network infrastructure.
  3. Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, routing, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls.
  4. Familiarity with OT cybersecurity practices and backup/disaster recovery procedures.
