Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a commercially astute leader to join our team and provide strategic financial guidance across our Technology function. In this role, you will oversee the reporting, forecasting, and governance of technology spend, while playing a critical part in shaping business cases, vendor negotiations, and strategic resourcing decisions.
  • You will ensure financial outcomes align with business priorities and support the successful delivery of key technology investments.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for Technology, ensuring alignment with business strategy and commercial priorities.
  2. Deliver accurate and timely reports, budgets, and forecasts with clear articulation of risks, opportunities, and drivers.
  3. Act as a trusted finance partner across the function, delivering financial insights, influencing decisions, and supporting delivery of commercial targets.
  4. Deep dive on financial analysis to uncover business performance drivers, identify opportunities, and support continuous improvement.
  5. Evaluate business initiatives through business cases and post-implementation reviews.
  6. Support long-term planning and strategic goal setting, including governance tracking of key business KPIs and financial objectives.
  7. Lead and develop high-performing team members, support development, and succession planning.
  8. Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 10+ years' experience in a Commercial Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner role specifically partnering with Technology.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or CFA).
  • Proven track record of driving results and delivering insights that contribute to business success.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Demonstrated ability balancing strong commercial acumen and understanding of value drivers within a business with financial governance and pragmatism.
