About the Position
We seek a Team Leader to oversee the provision of direct care and create a warm, nurturing environment in the Family Reunification House.
- This is a full-time Monday to Friday position with occasional weekends and sleepovers as needed.
- SCHCADS Award Level 5 with a salary range of $97,378 – $101,788 + Superannuation + Penalties as relevant.
- Funded by the government until 31 December 2026, with possible extension.
- Lead a team of Residential Support Workers and work with the Program Coordinator on daily operations.
- Provide quality trauma-informed care aligned with the Hope and Healing Framework for children in the house.
- Maintain high-quality care while upholding program intent and developing local, sustainable services.
- Lead the team in creating a secure, supportive environment and foster positive relationships with families and communities.
- Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Hold or be in the process of completing a degree in Community Services or a related field.
- Hope and Healing Foundations Framework certificate.
- Demonstrated experience working within a trauma-informed framework.
- Skills in managing disruptive behaviors and mentoring employees through challenging situations.
