The Position:
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to support our current team at our Rosebud workshop.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring we maintain a safe and reliable fleet
- Performing general services, oil changes, filter replacements, and brake maintenance
- Fulfilling preventative maintenance schedules
- Diagnosing and repairing buses
- Test driving vehicles to diagnose malfunctions
- Maintaining engines through minor to major repairs
Required Criteria:
- Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent Trade Qualification)
- Completed a 4-year apprenticeship
- Experience working with trucks or buses
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow instructions
- High regard for safety
- Ability to handle pressure
- Current MR or HR licence (not essential)
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
