The Position:
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at the Rosebud workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and reliable fleet
- General vehicle servicing including oil, filter, and brake changes
- Fulfill preventative maintenance schedules
- Diagnose and repair buses
- Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions
- Perform minor to major engine repairs
Essential Criteria:
- Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification)
- Completed a 4-year apprenticeship
- Experience working with trucks or buses
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow instructions
- High regard for safety
- Ability to handle pressure
- Current MR or HR license (not essential)
