You will use your hands-on technical skills to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain both Arjo and third-party devices in aged care and hospital environments.
Working proactively, you will directly improve the quality of life for patients and caregivers — empowering movement and making a real difference every day.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out maintenance, repairs, and testing of medical equipment as well as related third-party devices
- Conduct routine scheduled servicing; (Preventative) and breakdown support (Reactive)
- Promote services and service contracts to customers in regional areas;
- Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed time frames;
- Provide accurate and compliant reporting on equipment serviced and repaired;
- Maintain and report spare parts stock accurately;
- Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Company Policy;
This role may require occasional regional travel to meet the needs of our large and growing customer base.
**Requirements:**
- Mechanical and/or Electronics background and aptitude;
- 2-5 years' relevant field service experience, preferably within the Healthcare or a service-related sector;
- Proven problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skills;
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service;
- Strong time management and planning skills with an ability to meet performance targets/KPIs;
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service, be well presented, confident, and exhibit sensitivity interacting with staff and clients in a range of healthcare environments;
- The ability to understand the customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions for mutual benefit;
- Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools, soldering, power tools, and test/inspection equipment;
- Computer literacy. iPad use familiarity will be advantageous;
- The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment;
- A current driver's licence (Class C) is essential;
- Due to the role working in hospitals and aged care facilities, you are encouraged to have been vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a current influenza vaccination.
